AIM

The aim of Government Polytechnic, Proddatur is to provide quality technical education to students, especially from rural and economically weaker sections, and to develop competent diploma engineers with strong technical skills, ethical values, and social responsibility who can meet the needs of industry and society.

OBJECTIVES

1. To impart quality technical education in various engineering disciplines in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by AP SBTET.
2. To develop practical and hands-on skills among students through well-equipped laboratories, workshops, and industry-oriented training.
3. To promote employability and entrepreneurship by enhancing technical competence, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
4. To encourage industry interaction through industrial visits, guest lectures, internships, and collaborative activities for real-world exposure.
5. To foster discipline, ethics, and professionalism among students to make them responsible engineers and good citizens.
6. To support students from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds by providing equal learning opportunities and guidance for academic and career growth.
7. To promote innovation and lifelong learning by motivating students to adopt emerging technologies and modern engineering practices.
8. To contribute to societal development by producing technically skilled manpower capable of addressing local and national needs.
